Hello

I am an art educator and instructional designer with many years of experience teaching children, teens, adults, and seniors in community programs, independent schools, and online environments. My background combines traditional studio practice – drawing, painting, and mixed media – with modern approaches to online and blended learning. I care deeply about how people learn, not just what they produce.

My teaching focuses on process as much as product. I help learners develop skills, visual awareness, and confidence in making artistic decisions. Rather than copying a single outcome, students learn how to observe, experiment, revise, and reflect. These skills stay with them long after a class ends.
